The Dallas Cowboys cut their roster by five players, trimming their roster to 75 in complience with the league rules. None of the cuts come as surprises as these players were the last men invited into camp. The Cowboys cut cut cornerback Quincy Butler, punter Jay Ottovegio, wide receiver Daniel Polk and quarterback Jeff Terrell. In addition they also reached an injury settlement with fullback Ronnie Cruz, who injured his shoulder in the second preseason game against Denver.
Now these men will be able to look for work with another organization.
